Visit the capital of the Mayan civilization and discover one of the richest ancient cultures in the world. Located some 126 miles, 2.5 hrs from Cancun, Chichen Itza was the most important and advanced ceremonial and religious center in Mesoamerica. Visit “The Castle” or “Temple of Kukulcan”, a magnificent 70 foot high pyramid that is visited twice a year by the Mayan God during the equinox who manifests himself in the form of a serpent of light and descends from the main stairway. Chichen Itza was recently designated as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World due to its extraordinary architectural beauty and its geographical location. A guided tour of the archaeological site lasts two hours.

Tulum is the archaeological site of a Pre-Colombian Maya walled city.  At the time it was one the most important commercial trading ports.  The ruins are perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Among them, El Castillo “The Castle”, is one of the most impressive buildings at one time a temple and a fortress. A guided tour at the archaeological site lasts 2 hours.

One of the main attractions of the park is a spectacular cave of more than 5 million years, with a variety of stalactites, stalagmites and columns. The cave is 600 m long and is made up of magnificent domes. It is equipped with discreet lighting and eco-sensitive paths. You will also appreciate a beautiful cenote of crystal clear water of 12 m deep, and during the trip a specialized guide will explain the origin and the formation of caves, as well as the uses and history of the ancient Maya civilization.
